Brick and Mortar
January 31, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Fill your car with your girlfriends and join us for our first Brick and Mortar of 2019. We are starting the year out learning from women who are sitting in the front seat of their businesses.
Penny Sweet, the owner of the Grape Choice, has not only learned how to have a thriving business but also was recently elected mayor of Kirkland. She will share her business hurdles and successes along with how to keep dreams active.
Next, we will hear from our own Illuminating Women member Deborah Peterson of another inspiring story of how she quit corporate and started her own catering business, which is her passion.
My topic: The Third Act
It’s never too late to pursue your passion. It used to be that at age 65, you retired with the gold watch to the rocking chair. Well, throw that out the window! At age 65, after working with a life coach for a year, Deborah Peterson launched Vineyard Catering, providing Boutique Catering and Personal Chef services. Learn why Deborah believes it is important to stay vital and engaged as we age.
Do you have a dream? Do you want more professionally? Then join us to meet new friends, deepen connections, and learn some realities of living your passion.
